The KryoVue^® Cryopreservation "Peel Pouch" 

The KryoVue^® "peel pouch" is designed as an overwrap for valuable samples to be cryopreserved in liquid nitrogen.

♦  A transparent, amber tint, 2 mil thick film consisting of FEP inside and polyimide outside.
♦  Provides a barrier to liquid nitrogen and contaminants.
♦  Working useful temperature range from -200°C to + 200°C
♦  Remains flexible in liquid nitrogen
♦  Can be silkscreened and written on for documentation.
♦  Optional port for vacuum sealing
♦  The pouch has no extractables and is manufactured without adhesives

The bags are designed to protect products from contact with liquid nitrogen while stored in liquid nitrogen.  They remain flexible in liquid nitrogen and will not fracture. The end user simply peels open the package for sterile presentation when the product is removed.  Customers are familiar with this procedure and prefer it to cutting open bags.  Afc also distributes a tabletop heat sealer for these products.  The "Peel-Pouch" can be pre-printed with your information.
